Posted Date: 10/08/26 (09:09 AM)

Cabarrus County Schools recently launched the "Future Makers" Employee Recognition Program. Future Makers is a districtwide employee recognition initiative that celebrates the dedicated individuals who make a lasting difference in the lives of students and families.

Inspired by the district's strategic plan, Destination 27, and this year's theme, "Your Future, Our Focus," Future Makers highlights employees whose daily actions help create exceptional learning environments, strengthen relationships, support colleagues, and advance student success. Through this initiative, CCS seeks to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of employees who make an impact every day and reinforce a culture of appreciation across the district.

We are so proud to celebrate our first FOUR Cardinal Future Makers @ THE NEST! Congratulations to Mrs. Burk, Mrs. Calandra, Ms. Crider, and Ms. Mazor for serving our students and families in such an impactful way. #futuremakers #gamechangers

Community members, parents, students, and employees are invited to submit nominations recognizing CCS team members who exemplify service, excellence, innovation, and commitment. From teachers and school leaders to transportation, child nutrition, maintenance, technology, and support staff, Future Makers shines a spotlight on the people whose work helps shape the future of Cabarrus County.

You can nominate someone by visiting this site: https://forms.gle/GYPHSXpGiBCPZsXZ6

The certificates feature yellow, orange, and red accents and celebrate each recipient's positive contributions to Cabarrus County Schools.
