In the event that a remote learning day is called, students will participate in asynchronous instruction. Asynchronous instruction means that students will complete lessons and assignments on their own schedule, rather than in real-time with a teacher. While there will be no live class sessions, all assignments and materials will be provided, and students are expected to work independently to complete the tasks for the day.
If you experience any connectivity issues or difficulties with completing the work, please remember that according to CCS School Board Policy, students have up to five (5) days to submit their assignments upon returning to school. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility with remote learning.
Specific instructions for your school's remote learning plan are as follows:
Welcome to a remote learning day!
Our goal is to provide your child with learning assignments for a remote day digitally and paper/pencil version. We've proactively sent home remote learning choice boards and/or remote learning packets & two books as for a "just in case" remote learning day. Your child's teacher has placed the remote learning assignments (paper copy) in your child's take home folder. Below you will also find the links to access the same resources by grade level if needed.
On a remote learning day, your child's teacher will be working remotely and respond to questions if needed via email/ParentSquare in a timely manner across school hours 8:15-3:15.
Students connected to Mrs. Justice and/Ms. Naik will come with a grey remote learning assignment.
Students connected to Structured Learning will come with salmon colored remote learning assignments.
