Mrs. Melissa Guenther
 Hi! My name is Melissa Guenther and I am the school counselor for third, fourth, and fifth grade students.  I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University and my Masters in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. 

My job is to ensure that all students receive equitable resources that will appropriately promote their learning.  I support all student's academic, career, and personal/social development.  I help enhance these aspects of students by providing them with individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom guidance lessons.  These activities are put in place to assist in removing barriers that prevent students from receiving an equal education.  My goal is to be a support for students and families to use when needed.  I am very excited about the 2022-2023 school year!
